1912 S. Congress Ave. will make it easy for many folks to participate in this fun back-to-school charity drive.
We are joining forces with Women Supporting Women for this great event. This is the 3rd Women Supporting Women's Annual Backpack Drive. We would like to invite you to participate.
WSW is about networking, shopping, workshops, job fairs, and resources to support businesses owned by women in the city of Austin and prospective women that have an interest in pursuing a career in business.
Sweet Dreams is the newest 24 hour child care facility in Austin that provides non-traditional hours of childcare.
On August 25th, Women Supporting Women and Sweet Dreams 24 hour child care center will be providing backpacks and school supplies to low income and at risk children of the Austin community. WSW is challenging individuals and companies to donate backpacks and school supplies to distribute at the August 25th event.
If your company would like to participate by donating supplies, volunteers, being a drop off location for donations, or a corporate sponsor for this event, any participation would be greatly appreciated. Map pencils, Pencils, Crayons, Wide ruled Notebook paper, 3 prong Folders with pockets, 3 ring Binders, Markers, Protractors, Rulers, Erasers, Pens, Notebooks, Cursive tablets, 3x5 index cards, Kid safe scissors, Spiral notebooks, White School glue, Construction paper, Subject dividers, Pencil bags, Highlighters.
Monetary donations are also accepted. Checks and money orders preferred. Please make payable to Women Supporting Women or Sweet Dreams. Thanks in advance for your donations.
